What’s included in Office 365
For a full list of what apps are enabled on your Office365 account please log into the Office365 Portal .
As a general rule you get web versions of all the major applications, and desktop clients for Teams, Skype for Business, and Onedrive included (if not already part of your Windows 10).

Getting Started
Free Software is available for use by groups from tt-exchange.
To obtain a copy of Office 365 this is what you have to do:
Register with tt-exchange on their Getting Started page.
You have to provide your:
- Charity number (use the District Charity Number if your group doesn’t have one)
- Copy of last accounts
- Mission Statement (cut and paste from Scouts.org.uk)
- Your charity address (The address of your HQ)
- The email address that the charity commission holds for you
- TT-exchange may wish to have a headed letter conformation from your group chairman that you are authorised to act on behalf of your group.
- TT-exchange may want headed letter conformation from the District that you are a federated charity (email Craig if you need this).
One you have been accepted by tt-exchange you can go to the Office 365 software site and register with them.
Then you have to register for Office365.
You want to end up with the E1 plan – this takes a while to check eligibility so they will put you on a Trial version of E3 until the E1 approval comes through.

The free offerings of Office 365 don’t include the full installed version of Office (which includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). To supplement these free Office 365 plans, eligible charities can request donations of the latest version of Microsoft Office through tt-exchange.

Alternatively, eligible organisations can upgrade to the discounted paid plans, which offer the desktop Office apps. With these plans, your volunteers can use Office apps on up to five devices per user.
