Beavers

Beaver Scouts are our youngest members and normally meet in sections that we call colonies.

Colonies usually meet on a weekly basis to take part in a wide range of activities including games, crafts, singing, visits and good turns, along with plenty of outdoor activities.

Beaver Scouts will also have the opportunity to take part in the fun and excitement of camps and sleepovers. It may be the first time they spend a night away from home so it’s a real adventure for them..

There are a range of awards and badges available to earn from the Experiments Badge, Navigator, Musician or Cook…whatever they are interested in we’ve probably got a badge for it!

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
