1. Deposit and Payment Terms
– A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total booking cost is required within two weeks of making the booking.
– The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than eight weeks before the event start date.
– Failure to pay the deposit within the specified timeframe will result in the booking being cancelled.
– If the full payment is not received eight weeks before the event, the booking will be cancelled without any refund.

2. Cancellation Policy
– All deposits are non-refundable.
– Cancellations made less than eight weeks before the event start date will result in the loss of the full payment.

3. Changes to Bookings
– Any changes to the booking must be communicated in writing and are subject to availability and approval by Northampton District Scout Council.
– Additional charges may apply for changes to the booking.

4. Liability
– The Northampton District Scout Council is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by participants during the event.
– Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings and safety.

5. Force Majeure
– The Northampton District Scout Council is not liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure is as a result of Acts of God (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane, or other natural disaster), war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities (regardless of whether war is declared), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power, or confiscation, terrorist activities, nationalization, government sanction, blockage, embargo, labour dispute, strike, lockout, or interruption or failure of electricity or telephone service.

6. Governing Law
– These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
