SCOUT ACTIVE SUPPORT MANAGER

We are looking for someone to take on the role of Northampton Gang Show – Scout Active Support Manager.

The Gang Show is one of the largest public facing activities that Northampton District Scouts are involved in and has been a major part of Scouting in Northampton for nearly 60 years. Many Leaders, supporters, past and present members probably have at least one recollection of the Gang Show, whether as a cast member, part of the back-stage team or just watching the show.

Times have changed, the show is a complex and technical event with many differing skills required to ensure it continues to be a success.

As the Manager of this Scout Active Support Unit, you will help build a unique team capable of shaping and supporting this event year on year.

You will be responsible for managing the SASU Service Agreement that will be created to support the Districts needs as well as ensuring that all adult members of this Active Support Unit are recorded correctly on Compass and have a current DBS as well as ensuring any relevant training is completed.

If you are interested in this role and would like to know more about it, contact DDC Malcolm Dyer who will send you a copy of the full role description or answer any other questions or queries you have.

Both nominations, from third parties, and personal applications for this role will be considered and should be made by email at the above address by Friday 7thDecember 2018.
