St Georges Day Celebration

he District Team have been busy planning this year’s St Georges Day celebration.  Details have been shared via groups already and should have been distributed by GSLs but we wanted to ensure everyone had an open invite to join us for the day irrespective of your role, everyone will be welcome.

Date: Sunday 28th April 2019
Time: 1:30pm for a 2:00pm opening ceremony
Location: Fernie Fields Sports Centre

We will be holding an opening parade around the sports field at Fernie Fields.  Dignitaries, parents and those not those watching will gather in the main grandstand before the parade led by our Scout Band will open the event prior the renewal of promises.  Shortly after, some fun sporting activities will take place on the field behind the football pitch.  More details can be found here.

It is important to note that entry for all vehicles will be via Talavera Way and not via Moulton Way and Fernie Fields – our normal entrance to Fernie gates will be locked
