New ADC Beavers Appointed

I am delighted to announce that, following the recruitment campaign and an Appointments Advisory Committee last night, Karen Simpson has been appointed to take on the role of Assistant District Commissioner for Beaver Scouts.

Karen will be tasked with supporting and encouraging leaders in the Beaver section and ensuring that high quality activities are made available to all Beavers Scouts in the District. Karen can be contacted by emailadc.beavers@northamptonscouts.org.uk Karen will shortly be in touch with Beaver Leaders to talk to them about her plans.

Karen has been in Scouting for over a decade and held several roles over that period from starting out as a Group Chair, through to Assistant Beaver Scout Leader and Assistant Cub Scout Leader. Karen also supports many of our Active Support Units including Gang Show and Scout Shop as well as being a member of both the District and County Exec.
