The opportunity to see horses and members of The Sealed Knot up close

Not surprisingly, the Naseby Battlefield Trust has strong links with The Sealed Knot, which is the oldest re-enactment society in the UK.

One of the trustees of the Naseby Battlefield Trust is also a member of The Sealed Knot and has offered a rare opportunity for two visits to local campsites to allow our young people to get close to horses and talk to members of The Sealed Knot in period costume. They will bring their muskets – so get ready for noise.

The dates for these visits are:
Saturday 10th May 2025 – Overstone Campsite & Activity Centre

Booking is now open for the first event at Overstone, with three-time slots being available. As well as seeing the horses there will be other themed activities to get involved in, appropriate to the Section age range. Whilst the time slots are two hours long, there is no need to leave immediately, as there will be lots to do.

The time slots available are:
10 am to 12 noon
12 noon to 2 pm
2 pm to 4 pm
