District Challenge: 2nd St Giles takes this years crown

Congratulations to the 2nd St Giles Scout Group for winning this years inaugural District Challenge and picking up The Thornton Trophy and the £100 prize fund.

The District Challenge was introduced to add a much needed youth presence at our AGM and gave Scouting across Northampton the opportunity to showcase traditional Scouting Skills to visiting dignatories.  During the morning of activities groups competed against each other and the clock, working through various challenges and tasks that had been been desinged for all sections and scoring points.  In the end it was a narrow margin of victory with St Giles
