Love Scouting March Challenges

Date: 1st Mar 2021 Author: Craig Kidd

This past year has been a difficult one for many young people, not least in the disruption to their schooling and Scouting.

So, we thought we’d inject a bit of fun into the mix, to encourage young people to test their ingenuity and skills, and to give them a bit of a break from the screen time that has become an all too regular part of their daily lives.

We have prepared a number of challenges that, together, form the #LoveNDScouts Challenge. These challenges range from quick and fun, to trickier tests of Scouting skills.

Some may need a bit of research, and we have provided a bit of guidance to where this might be found, if needed.

There are four Challenge Levels, aimed at Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, and Explorers. Do you need to stick to your Section? No! If you find a challenge from another Challenge Level interesting, give it a go! We would encourage you to look up rather than down – if you are a Scout, you won’t be challenged at all by tasks aimed at Beavers.

The goal is to complete thirty-one challenges through the month of March. This evens out at a cool one challenge per day – but you do not have to stick to that. You might want to do a group of challenges over a weekend, or tick a couple of the fun ones off after school to help you wind down. Thirty-one by the end of March is the goal. How you achieve this is up to you.

If you are ready then grab your Challenge Pack here and get started

We’ve designed the challenges to be self selective meaning you can try easier or harder challenges as you are able, that’s why we’ve created one pack containing them all, however if you are looking for just your section challenges you can find them below
