Beaver Challenge Day 13th September 2025

Date: 13th September 2025 Location: Overstone Scout Camping and Activity Centre Sections: Beaver Scouts, Beavers Leaders

Logistics:
Arrivals from 9am onwards for a 10am start.
Pick up from 3:15pm until 4pm
Car parking for people staying will be at the edge of the top field.
Refreshment: Bring lunches. Squashes will be available for young people and hot drinks for adults. Lunch break in activities will be for 45 minutes from 12:15pm

Activity areas: The Bottom field and forest (depending on other bookings) will be used for activities. If groups would like to bring a gazebo for a lunch space, they will be asked to go in the bottom field. 34th’s marquee may be able to be used; however, help will be needed to put up and take down.
Activity theme/badge: Voting was led by My World challenge, with second for My Adventure and My Skills. This was discussed at the meeting.
The organising team will aim to complete My Adventure is the most suited to the site and the day activity; however, we will try to cover some other criteria of others…

What’s next: Sign up by 7th September.
If it’s a yes, amazing, then please also share numbers. Numbers can fluctuate on the day but bear in mind the need to purchase/organise resources, including getting badges for participation.
If it’s a no, and you haven’t already done so, please let me know, and why. I would like as many young people as possible to attend, so please let me know if anything can be put in place to change a no to a yes.
